Tate Britain holds the world’s greatest British Art collection. The common perception is that it’s full of ‘old’ art that doesn’t reflect contemporary culture. We needed to highlight the diversity of the collection by juxtaposing modern masterpieces and classical works to give a new perspective. Unfortunately Tate Britain weren’t brave enough to run with it.
